ART & NATURE DAYS @ Laumeier

Laumeier Sculpture Park’s Art & Nature Days encourage families and friends to visit the Park for a day filled with hands-on activities and engaging demonstrations designed to inspire creativity while spending time outdoors. 

Earth Day Celebration Week at the Park!
Spring has arrived and the Park is beginning to turn green again! Visit Laumeier for an exciting day filled with activities as we kick off a weeklong celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day!  

All Ages / April 19, 12–3 p.m./ Ferring Family Foundation Museum Lawn / FREE

·       Natural Dyed Eggs / Learn how to dye eggs with natural ingredients that are found in your own kitchen! Register Online or Drop-in (cash only) / 3 eggs for $5 or $15 per dozen

·       Community Tile Glazing / Laumeier invites participants of all ages to join 2025 Visiting Artist in Residence, Renata Cassiano Alvarez for a drop-in workshop to design and paint a tile for the artist’s final sculpture, Passage.

·       Laumeier Sculpture Park Biodiversity Project Scavenger Hunt / Bioblitz          
Learn how to create an account on iNaturalist and participate in Laumeier’s Earth Day Celebration Week Bioblitz! Complete a short scavenger hunt and enter to win a complimentary I Love Mother Nature membership.

·       Family Play Days are fun and engaging opportunities for people of all ages to connect with art and nature in a playful way. Join our education team in exploring natural paints, making prints, mixing “potions”, and more! Prepare to get messy. / Carriage House Deck
