GARDEN VOLUNTEERS

St. Louis County Parks invites Master Gardeners, Master Gardener Trainees, garden hobbyists, or anyone who enjoys working outdoors to join Laumeier Sculpture Park this season. The Garden Volunteer opportunity is a great way to enjoy the company of others in an outdoor setting while focusing on the beautification of the Park. The informal collective meets on Thursday mornings from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m., weather permitting. Volunteers maintain the garden beds around the building campus at Laumeier.

Volunteers aged 18 and up are welcome to join during weeks that suit their schedule, March through November. No minimum commitment required.

Project announcements are sent via email each Wednesday for the Thursday project. RSVP is requested but not required. Please contact volunteer@laumeier.org with any questions and to be added to the Garden Volunteer email list.

Education Program Volunteers

Education Program Volunteers assist with a variety of administrative, program-based projects and may also interact directly with program participants. Education Program Volunteers must be ages 16 and up.

Event Volunteers

Event Volunteers assist with the production of Laumeier’s Annual Art Fair on Mother’s Day weekend and other special events throughout the year. The minimum commitment is four hours. Event Volunteers must be ages 16 and up or accompanied by an adult.
