Laumeier Members at the Contributor level ($125) and above are invited to join Michelle Abounader at the Park for a one-hour, open-level yoga flow focusing on breath awareness and body alignment in the most common yoga poses. Participants will study posture as it relates to the feet, abdomen and skull, and talk about the benefits of yoga in the 11 body systems, especially the nervous system. All levels, including beginners, are welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat. Class is located in the Way Field and will be relocated inside the Adam Aronson Fine Arts Center in case of inclement weather.
Contact Hannah Priest, Membership & Visitor Services Coordinator, at 314.615.5281 or hpriest@laumeier.org to register.
