COVID MEMORIAL DAY VIRTUAL VIGIL

Travel virtually across the country with co-hosts Marked By COVID and Reimagine to experience COVID memorial events, watch a slideshow featuring photographs of loved ones lost to COVID, listen to a reading of personal letters to elected officials in attendance, and take action on behalf of COVID victims and their surviving friends and family.

Join individuals, groups, and elected officials across the United States – both in person and virtually – to hold space for our grief in collaboration with artists and activists from Rose River Memorial, the Arizona Museum of Natural History in Phoenix, the Booker T. Washington Community Service Center in San Francisco, Laumeier Sculpture Park and Interfaith Partnership of Greater St. Louis.

Marked By COVID is a national, grassroots-markpowered, non-partisan nonprofit organization that promotes accountability, recognition, justice, and a pandemic-free future by elevating truth and science. Kristin Urquiza co-founded MBC days after her first-generation Mexican-American father, Mark, passed away from the virus in June 2020.
