COMMUNITY ARTIST ACTIVITIES
Tamara Eberle / Creative Grounding Stones
Did you know that art therapy is an active creative process that can support overall wellness and mental health? Join Community Artist In Residence Tamara Eberle, artist and art therapist, for a grounding rock painting activity. Connect with nature and slow down your thoughts while you sit amongst the trees. Let the stone’s unique shape and surface inspire your artistic choices. Respond to prompts and affirmations provided by Tamara, while focusing on the positive effects artmaking has on your overall wellbeing.
Mee Jey / Souvenir
Join Community Artist In Residence Mee Jey and other Park visitors in contributing to Souvenir, an outdoor, collaborative installation that celebrates collecting keepsakes from life’s special moments. Participants are invited to experiment with bundling, tying, and knotting repurposed fabric and other found materials together into interesting shapes, creating a physical memento of your time spent creating at the Park. Each “souvenir” will be connected to build a collective memory that can be revisited.
